So this morning I grabbed my coffee and decided to check my August 20 horoscope like I always do. Cracked open my astrology app while brushing my teeth – multitasking, you know? Scrolled past generic daily stuff until finding the love and career section.
How It Went Down
First noticed the career prediction saying “unexpected opportunities knocking”. Figured that meant checking emails extra carefully. Sure enough, around 10:30 AM, this project manager from another department pinged me about a collab I never saw coming. Nailed it! Went ahead and scheduled a meeting for next week.
The Love Part
Prediction claimed “past connections resurfacing”. Honestly laughed it off until lunchtime. Was munching salad when my college ex texts outta nowhere after two years radio silence! We used to date back in 2021. Crazy thing? Astrology app specifically said: “Don’t reopen closed doors.” So I left that message on read. No regrets.
My verification process:
- Wrote predictions in my Notes app at 7AM
- Checked them hourly like a weirdo
- Marked hits/misses in red pen (very scientific)
Ended up with two solid hits and one miss – the horoscope said I’d get praise from higher-ups but nada happened. Still counts as a win in my book though. Whole experience proved these readings ain’t gospel truth, but damn if they don’t make you notice patterns you’d otherwise miss!
