The Draft That Took Forever
Finally opened a blank doc and stared at the blinking cursor for like ten minutes. “Okay,” I muttered, “start simple.” Typed out a quick intro about how Thursday vibes are usually slower, kinda chill. Then tackled Aries first – always start with fire signs, feels right. Remembered Mars is kinda weak today, so wrote something about them needing to chill instead of forcing things. Took a short break then for another coffee refill. Came back, tackled Taurus next… slow going. Gemini was tricky, my notes were super messy about Mercury’s position. Must’ve wasted half an hour trying to find if it was direct or retrograde before I found it marked on my old calendar – thank goodness for messy scribbles! Went through each sign one by one, trying to keep it simple for each. What the heck does “trine” even mean to most people, right? Keep it human.
Tech Trouble… Always
Finished writing finally. Read it back aloud. Sounded okay! Ready to hit publish, right? Wrong. Tried uploading the doc to my blog platform. Error message pops up: “Formatting incompatible.” My doc had bullet points! Platform hates that, apparently. Spent another fifteen minutes copying it over line by line into their editor window. Formatting went bonkers again! Spaces disappeared, paragraphs mushed together. Cursed under my breath, fixed the formatting manually, triple-checking every single line. Made everything clear and bold where needed. Used tags for emphasis on key points, like warning Virgos about overthinking or pushing Cancer to trust their gut.
- Aries: Wrote “Don’t push too hard, let things flow.” Simple.
- Taurus: Focused on stability and avoiding impulse buys.
- Scorpio: Big warning about paranoia today.
- Aquarius: Pushed them to join group stuff even if weird.
Publish & That Weird Feeling
Added a quick outro about taking it easy. Hit ‘schedule post’ finally. Relief! Almost three hours gone! Posted it around lunch feeling kinda drained. Scrolled back through it on the live site. Spotted a typo for Leo immediately – ‘creativity’ spelled wrong. Ugh. Facepalm moment. Too late to fix once it’s up though. Made a mental note to proofread better tomorrow. Maybe after coffee #3. Still kinda wish I could sneak back in and edit Leo’s bit… oh well. Done is done. The signs are stuck with what they got today!
